Minnesota started off the game taking a 1-0 lead in the first on a Morneau double. We took the lead in the bottom of the inning after Josh Fields parked one in the left field seats with one on. Joe Crede gave the Twins the lead again in the fourth, with a 2-run single, but Jim Thome extended his hit streak to 25 with a 2-run shot in the bottom of the inning. The Twins tied it up off MacDougal in the seventh when Mauer brought home Young with a double. It was still tied going to the bottom of the ninth. The Twins brought on Joe Nathan to face Jim Thome to start the inning. Thome fouled off the first three pitches, took two balls, then hit the next pitch 426 feet to center to win the game!
