This game couldn't have started off any worse. Danks' outing went like this: strikeout, double, 2-run homer, walk, 2-run homer, solo homer, done. Estrada came in and struck out Treanor, walked Raburn, hit Santiago, walked Guillen, gave up a base hit to Polanco to score Raburn, and got Ordonez to fly out to right. After the top of the first, we were down 6-0 and this game looked hopeless. We got 2 runs back in the second thanks to 2 errors by the Tigers. Thome added a solo shot in the fifth to cut the lead in half. In the seventh, Pierzynski scored on a Thome double, Konerko scored on a wild pitch, and Thome scored on a sac fly by Anderson to complete our comeback and tie the game at 6. Pierzynski gave us the final margin with a 2-run double in the eighth to score Beckham and Lillibridge. Jim Thome went 3 for 5 with a double, a home run, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs scored to lead our attack.
