Quite obviously Nakaia knew what they were doing when they made 'Silverback' Coulouris the top pick in the inaugural draft. With a 9-1 record, 3 saves, and a 3.40 ERA, he was an obvious choice for Pitcher of the Year. The lack of players in the ERA and WHIP categories is due to the fact that only two players managed the required number of innings -- along with all other skills, stamina is low across the league. It is worth noting that the #2 pick in the draft, Ptolemy Karaoulanis, didn't make a pitch all year(though the 18-year-old is considered the #2 prospect in the GBL overall).
