Sundowners Could Go Down In RU East
If the Wynnamac Sundowners continue in a logical progression they will end last in the Ruthlandian Union East. Matt Donnelly's ball club finished sixth in 2002 and then seventh last year. And according to the baseball preseason polls in 2004 they are headed straight to eighth place. Donnelly just doesn't have an abundance of quality players.
Wynnamac has three new additions to its roster, but none has the potential to even make the starting rotation or starting line-up. The Sundowners are woefully weak in just about all aspects of the game. Most of the other clubs in the division have at least made some improvements over last year, but not so in Wynnamac. That's why they are an easy pick for last place.
