Heh, well I am pretty certain there was never a
positive dev trigger with any injury, but yeah, there were a lot of complaints about the pseudo career ending day-to-day injuries in OOTP9 (AKA 'death from 1000 cuts' dev hits). I swear I saw references to this game dev logic being changed when OOTPX was released, but checking back now I can't find them, and this issue is not specifically mentioned in the official features/changes blurbs for the game.
