Yeah, he's turned it on late. He was abyssmal for the first half of the season. His patience hasn't developed yet, as remember all these imported in their first regular season. After hitting .217 for the first two months, he's hit .292 since then. Funny that he's playing for New York, too.
If things hold, the playoff matchups should be very interesting. New York has a winning record against Wichita this season, and San Antonio brings the PBL's best starting rotation against the PBLs best lineup, which has scored more than 100 runs more than the second-best team in the Southern League.
