The first month of the season got off to a good start, but quickly went downhill. We won the first eight out of our first twelve games, then went 1-13 for the rest of the month, including a ten game losing streak that will continue into May. Our record at the end of April is 9-17.

Kevin Stocker, our starting shortstop, fractured his nose on April 26, and will miss up to four weeks. Kevin Sefcik will start at shortstop until Stocker returns.
