In that event, this feature would have made it possible to get better minor league stats, without Markus having to program a separate League Total Modifier system for each league. This is entirely my interpretation, so regard it cautiously.

However, so far there are no distinct league totals for the minor leagues. So, in my mind, that option is sort of a placeholder for the future (how far off is anyone's guess).

If I am wrong about any of this, I hope my going out on a limb here will inspire someone more knowledgeable to jump in, because it is a very good question to ask.
Thanks for the reply. Hopefully someone (maybe Markus) will see and reply.
In v9 and before I ran test leagues and set my own league modifiers that lead to believable results. These seemed to hold up pretty well running my first test league in v10. I don't really care if I get them as accurate as my MLB modifiers, just reasonable results.

I did check the online manual and, as far as I can tell, there is no mention of this new feature. I did check the box (figuring I'd get an answer here on what it does do)though for my minors assuming\hoping that it would mean not having to check these out after each season and would lead to realistic numbers.

My concern was that by manipulating the engine the game would look to create the right number of HR's, K's, etc. to comply with the desired setting. In doing so it would create the illusion of a blossoming power hitter or dominating pitcher where one really didn't exist. My expectation though is it would be designed to work relative to the player ratings? IE the home run leader, whether the numbers were slightly inflated or deflated, would in fact be a guy that was probably going to grow into his power potential?

If it is something that hasn't been tested, explained in the manual, or is known to work properly maybe the check-box shouldn't be usable?

Anyway I've only played one ST game and can always turn it off it no answer is forthcoming before my ML seasons get under way.

Thanks again SteveP for you input.
