I'm at work...if someone has the Opening Day release and a bit of time, please do me a favor to run a test...
Take the 5 highest payroll teams (I think its Yanks, Mets, Red Sox, Mariners and Rangers but I may be off)...double their broadcast and merchandising revenue numbers. Sim the year and see if the cuts are the same as what happens with them as they are now. I think this extra income could be the key toward getting the finances working well. If nobody can do it I'll try it late tonight.
