For Baltimore, where has all the cash gone?
A couple years ago, it may have been the best time ever to root for professional baseball in Baltimore. Right now, it couldn't be any worse as the Orioles have announced they will not be able to fund a team to start the season. This is a major blow for a team that made the World Series in 6 of 8 years in the American Association. Also, all their players were granted release from their contracts and signed on elsewhere for this coming season. Even if the team does form again, they will no doubt be in for rough years to come.
