Thanks Much to all of you---E-mailed and recieved replacement game.
Now,I downloaded demo,and then prompted to buy,I entered purchase number,and it worked (I think)
When I tried to add an Historical player to the supplied 2008 game (something I've done many times) When I go to choose between databases,there are none shown.
Also,when I tried to download the Mods (again something I've done many times-Logos,photos,stadiums Etc.) I get the readme,but not the actual items.
I was using XP new computer came with Vista

could this be related to Vista or new game or my computer stupidity (always possible)
