Do you have any A/A guys in your league? If you do check and see what their ratings are, mainly looking at extra base hit ratings, guys with high D/T/HR would have a difficult time stealing alot of bases. My top 5 stolen base guys:

3. Billy Hamilton 88 1893 (124 games)
4. Bid McPhee 79 1886 (119 games)

During Hamilton's 1891 season he had 154 singles and 75 walks wchich game him lots of opprotunities to steal a base. Messing with the extra base hits totals can have some effects on your leaguewide stolen base totals, since there are more people staying at 1st base there are more chances to steal second. You'll definitly want to back up your league prior to messing with the league totals.
