And I was giving him the benefit of many year's experience with roster sets, which boils down to "if you don't have a problem with a roster set, modify it or make your own from scratch until you have one that you do like." That's best advice available for people with roster set issues, and the one that experience shows leads to the most satisfaction. Having probably (you never know, there may be some guy in Tibet who has made 500 roster sets) made more roster sets for this game than anyone else has, I know a lot about the subject.

I looked and I have more historical sets than that alone. Counting the fictional and hybrid ones, it may well be twice that.
