I took his point more as "one step forward, two steps back". Draft pick trading is another in a long list of features that was put in half way. There are a lot of things that OOTP does very well, and there are a lot of things that OOTP does not so well. If it is in the game (which it has been since at least 2007), it needs to be correct.
