I saved the file into ootp-saved games. Then unzipped them and went to load games. It was there and finally worked. I can't imagine how long this took cubbyfan, this guy is dedicated.

I'm having the same problems you were originally. Is there something else you have to do once you start up OOTP? If you have the updated 2009 rosters, should they appear at the outset, or will you still have the 2008 rosters until you do something else?
