So...since pre-ordering ten, and only being able to play the demo version of 9 so far, I've been lurking in these forums, pretty much just teasing myself because I'm very excited about the upcoming release.

2 questions from lurking so far...

#1. I've read alot about how the 2006 release was a complete disaster. What exactly happened? Nobody provides anything specific, only that it was a debacle. It seems to me that OOTP should have been relatively established by then, so how could one year's release been SO much worse than the previous years?

#2. The ONLY reason I found this game was because of "Front Office Manager". Anyone else try it? IMHO, it was awful. If it wasn't for people bringing up OOTP in FOM's reviews, I still wouldn't know about it, and I figure to be pretty active in this game once I finally get my hands dirty with it. It seems like EXACTLY what I've been looking for all my life. I know that I've talked to a few friends that have also decided to purchase it, and I'm working on several others. Those of you with years of experience with this game should go to similar game's review sites (i.e. FOM) and hail the exploits of it. I don't know who's post it was I read in that review, but it caused a trickle down effect of people buying, AND I'm in debt to that person to the nth degree.

Looking forward to meeting some of you in on-line leagues in the future.
