We just completed the season in our league and are in round one of the playoffs. A playoff team has 29 men on their roster and needs to cut to the 25 man limit for the playoffs. We had expanded to 40 man rosters during September; but now some of the players refuse the assignment to the minors. It indicates they have to be released or remain on the ML roster. Is there any way around this ? This does not happen in the "real" major leagues. How do your leagues handle this ?
