I had a ridiculous amount of cash and the perfect team save for a shortstop, so in my fourth season I signed Jose Reyes to a 1 year 34 million dollar contract. That same offseason Milton Bradley and someone else just as absurd received four year contracts averaging 35 million dollars a year.
Its two years later and Prince Fielder just signed a five year 215 MILLION dollar contract, averaging about 43 million dollars a year.
In league setup super-star quality players are set up to earn about 17 million a year. Did I just set a horrible precedent with my Reyes signing or is this a glitch? The game is not as fun when all of my stars are asking for 24 million dollars to be resigned
