Well, I don't know what happened to him. He took off down the river somewhere, I guess.
I told my buddies that Marquez was technically too sound for Diaz and would pick him apart. I thought he'd do it sooner, but it was soon enough. You can't overwhelm Marquez's style with just agression until he's on the downside of his ability. Marquez is always in position to counter if you watch the positioning of his feet. That's why he's so good at this point in his career.
The perfect style to beat his was Casamayor's... but he was too old to pull it off.
If someone will make Marquez lead and counter Marquez's attack, his effectiveness will decrease about 20%.
