There are two kinds of player ratings, for the main batting and pitching attributes: for batters, it's Contact-Gap-Power-Eye-Avoid Ks; and for pitchers, it's Stuff-Movement-Control. Every player has both a "talent" score, which is sort of their potential peak rating, and a "current rating" which is where they are currently.

In a "talent-only" league, only the "talent" is shown, and not the "current ratings."
