Just out of curiosity: does the new file with Markus' recheck allow for the use of coaches at any point? Or will this set always require coaches and scouting to be turned off? No big deal either way, just wondering.

I was planning on combining PECOTA/CHONE into one averaged projection for every player, but as it turns out, PECOTA deals with our game engine and "editor projections" almost perfectly. AVG/SLG/OBP from PECOTA are almost spot on when you put in what PECOTA predicts for 2B/3B/HR/BB/SO/SB. While I'm planning on deviating for some players (PECOTA seems to just slam players who had a bad year, I don't think we really expect some of these guys to have .450-.500 OPS), for most of the guys on an MLB roster with significant time, I use the PECOTA #s adjusted for ballparks.
As much as I love CHONE/MARCEL (whichever your bag is, they're basically the same system), park adjustments seem to be done differently in them so that they are not constant across players on the same team. Whether or not this is intentional I'm not sure, but it also does not translate to in-game as well as PECOTA does.
Should allow us to use coaches now too I believe.
