Yeah, one of you would have to be the commish and the other would have to email his upload file to the commish. The commish would do the actual simming, then send the league files back to the other person. The league files can get a little big; that's why most people use an ftp server.
It's a little complex if you are brand new to the game, but the game has the ability to do this.
