It sure was for the Cardinals, who swept a doubleheader from the Phillies in St. Louis today, 8-1 and 8-7.
Angelo Pacheco pitched a 2-hitter in the opener for his 17th win.
Quinn Allison had a fun day. Two errors in each game, but homered and doubled in the second game, driving in 5 runs. Down 2 to start the 8th inning, Alan Cress doubled in two runs in a pinch hit role to put the Cards up by the final margin. Steve O'Herlihy struggled.
