The Cardinals' streak ends at eight with a 4-3 loss in 10 innings to the Giants at the Polo Grounds. Mike Hudson hit a RBI double off Jorge Velasco.

Quinn Allison put the Cardinals up with a two-run triple in the 7th - only the 2nd hit of the game for St. Louis. But Mike Hayes tied the game off Velasco in the 8th with an RBI double. Velasco retired the side without further issues and the game went to the 9th tied at 3. The game stayed the same until Hudson's double.

Off day tomorrow, but it's two more against the Giants next week.
