Slowly but surely we're filling up. Over half the available ownership roles have been claimed. I'm thrilled by the quality and enthusiasm of the new owners who have joined us and am looking forward to meeting more of you soon.

In the original post I talked about the passion amongst our owners. That's no joke: PEBA owners really do love their league. Their level of activity and involvement never ceases to amaze me. As an example, allow me to highlight a few of our recent articles:

Featherheads.com Webcast: Mark Richardson's Date: Earlier this year a lucky lady won a date with Florida Featherheads 2B Mark "Ice Cold" Richardson as part of a charity raffle. Now the bill has come due and Mr. Richardson has to face the music. With commentary from the always-entertaining Featherheads announcing duo of A.K. & Nelly.

Keeping a Promise and Playing a Game: He may not be one of the stars of the PEBA, but Bud Hoffman's story is worth telling nonetheless. Aron Rocke of the Yuma Times (with contributions from the Lethbridge Anthem) conducts a touching interview with the Bulldozers' second baseman.
