A late Giants rally crushed Angelo Pacheco's hopes of starting 9-0 this season, as New York picked up five runs in the eighth inning of a 8-4 win today at the Polo Grounds.
The offense went dry with the exceptions of Burt (2-4, 29 game hit streak) and Ortiz (3-4, 13 game hit streak) and Pacheco gave up 13 hits, including 6 in the 8th inning before his departure. Just didn't have his best today.
