Jorge Montalvo pitched an excellent game today in Philadelphia, allowing only six hits in a complete game effort - a 9-3 win over the Phillies - as the Cardinals took 3 out of 4 from Philly.

Preston Thomas and Willie Keith both hit 3-run homers, and John Burt had a third inning triple to extend the hitting streak to 28 games.

Off to New York tomorrow to face the Giants!
