Well you gotta remember baseball euipment and fields werent like today.
You might have had hills on fields & rocks & even aninmals.
At the same time i dont like seeing a guy have 179 errors in 60 game season so i basically do what Garlon suggested lower my error modifer down by 3 or 2.
In 1871 i lower it from 6.661 to 3.661. I also lowered strikeoutts from 1.00 to .500 because i was getting too many strikeouts. Thats why i save every season and run test seasons before i run the one that counts.
