Hi guys, I'm in some need of help. I've been trying to edit an image I had found for a new fictional baseball league team logo but I'm having trouble. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The team name is
Fortaleza Conquistadors. Fortaleza is in the Northeast part of Brazil.
I found this image based on an old ABA basketabll team:

I put that down more for a color reference than anything.
I really like the image of the Conquistador in the first image but I'm not thrilled about the gold color. I was thinking about maybe using it and changing the color to maybe silver or grey and they having maybe a blue background. I also would need to switch out the basketball he is holding with a baseball and obviously change the San Diego to Fortaleza.
I just can't get the colors right when I try to edit that image in photoshop. Any help would be appreciated. I know this is an unusual team logo request, lol. Thanks in advance.
