Did you buy it for the pc? If so, you could contact support@elicense.com to ask about a refund. If for the Mac, you could contact eSellerate. That, of course, is if you didn't purchase the game through Steam - if so, you'd have to contact those guys.

I'm sorry that we couldn't figure this one out, but I have absolutely no more ideas.
