Historical ABs won't really mean anything. I just play my guys nonstop with my backups set for 'if starter is tired.' For pitchers, I try to never use a starter if he is below 90% (and usually I prefer 100%). Relievers are a different story since I more often than not just let the AI sim the whole game so I can't really control that.
