What happens when you use that jersey, Antonin? It should look OK because it is supposed to only use the parts of the jersey graphic that correspond to the jersey, sleeves, etc.
If you want, you can layer this on top.
I went with paint.net and it is great for jerseys. I never got the hang of using GIMP. I use paint.net for 99% of my graphics.
