Folks:

I'm kinda disappointed in the way OOTP5 figures out who is eligible for arb, then free agency. It appears that if you play 1 day in a season, you get credit for having been in the league the entire year. Now, I understand that works for some players, but for most, they shuttle around a bit between the minors and bigs.

Is there any way to cause OOTP5 to use the MLB rules, i.e., actual service time?

Alternately, could I somehow "trick" the game into thinking that a player only has 1 year, instead or 4?
