The game used to start and play fine, but now the game starts up, but when I load a game or start a new game it gives me the error message

"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

I have no idea what the problem is that is causing it nor what to do. Anything would help.
