Close Race for Wild Cards in RU
Heading down the home stretch in the Ruthlandian Union, the division winners appear set with Far Mountain (78-61) in the North Division and Marston (81-59) in the South Division. It is unlikely that either will be overtaken. The Redhawks are 5.5 games ahead of Valmara and the Nine is 7 games up on Sugar Valley. Far Mountain has 11 games left on the schedule, while Marston has 10 to play. The Rattlers magic number is six, while the Nine is down to just four.

Right now Sugar Valley (74-66) and Forest City (73-66) are in the lead for the two wild cards playoff slots for the Final Four Series. But close behind are the Valmara Vipers (73-67), just a game behind the Rattlers and a half-game behind the Lumberjacks. Volusia (70-69) is still in the running, but has a lot of ground to make up in a short time with only 11 games left in the regular season for them.
