I ran a historical simulation recently from 1901-2007. I managed the Cubs and in those 107 seasons I only had 6 seasons below a .500 record. 23 seasons my winning percentage was .600+. I made the playoffs 70 times and won the World Series 28 times. I had financials off (no free agency), Retire According to History enabled, and built my team solely through the rookie draft. I never made a single trade in 107 seasons, although trading was enabled so that the CPU teams could trade with each other.
