I run an online league and have an issue with a player for a team asking for different salary levels depending on who is offering. Both myself and the GM of the team have OOTP v8.

If he attempts to offer an extension, the player requests $1.5 mill per season.

If I attempt to offer on his behalf, the player requests $11.9 mill per season.

Any ideas why these numbers would be that different if we are using the same file, same game, same patch?
