The Seattle Mariners have a new GM in former Brewers vice-president Jack Zduriencik. (I don't have the slightest clue how it's pronounced.) Although he played an important part in rebuilding the Milwaukee franchise, he inherits an ungodly mess in Seattle. One wonders what he will need to do to bring the franchise back into respectability, if not necessarily contention.
