Anybody have a rating for Sal Lopez Jr? I have no idea on how to go about rating a fighter.

He was 18-0 {maybe 17, my memory is going} when he moved up to Welter from Jr Welter and fought Pete Ranzany and was stopped. The fight was well publicized {something I haven't noticed in boxing for over a decade now} locally with most of the front page of the sports section devoted to the fight the day after.

I grew up in Sacramento so I followed Pete Ranzany when I was in high school. I bought Title Bout when it first came out and kept buying the full game when a new edition would come out just to get the new ratings {I worked at a game store and got a huge discout and it was easier than buying mail order!}.

The late 70s/early 80s welterweight division always held a fascination for me and I still look for new fighter ratings for that era.
