Thanks . . . pretty much dumb luck. His Stuff/Movement/Control potential was 5-4-7 (20-point scale) Jan. 2010, just another pretty much random pick and I had no idea what I was doing (first game, first draft, never read a word of the manual). I even released my second-round pick by mistake.

His progress
2009: Drafted 876th, not even good enough to make the computer-generated depth chart and pitched 1 inning in the GCL (in which he gave up two runs).
2010: 5/4/7 potential; 5.87 ERA at Short-season A
2011: 6/8/9; 0.98 ERA at Short-A, but only 27 innings.
2012: 10/13/12! 2.60 ERA, 18 saves at Hi-A

Had ratings of 9-10/12-14/14 from there on out, became 4-4.5 ERA type at 2A/3A until 2015 when he was 1.64 in 49 IP at 3A and got a cup of coffee before becoming a Major League fixture at the back end of the bullpen.
