Good point on the parity. In OOTP, owners don't sell their star players to finance other ventures like Broadway musicals. Nor can it simulate players being under the influence of gamblers and throwing games because of it.
Also a good point, though, Syd, on how star pitchers occasionally finished games in relief, thus boosting their career decisions. I'm not sure if you can adjust the game to simulate that or not. Maybe you can maneuver it to happen on teams you manage, but I don't see how you could get AI managed teams to do such a thing.
