I know this has been discussed in many posts before, but I'm going to bring it up again.

I am having very good free agents go unsigned every year.

What are the best ways to prevent this from happening? What cash maximum is best? I never use a salary cap. What about amateur drafts rounds? Will lowering that help?

It seems like everytime someone asks what to do about this problem, people respond with things like "Give all the teams big TV contracts and set them to expire in 100 years"

I don't want to do something like that. I don't want to remove features from the game to get it to work correctly.
