since it's so hard to project these guys, I'm kind of going bell curvish with respect to the star ratings. So it would be similar to (assuming 100 college and 100 H.S. by the time it's done)
5 star: 3
4.5 star: 5
4 star: 10
3.5 star: 17
3 star: 30
2.5 star: 17
2 star: 10
1.5 star: 5
1 star: 3
Those will be the base ratings, then I'll adjust as I feel needed. It should give you a few potential stars, a bunch of solid players, and some guys who won't pan out. All of these are subject to the game's talent fluctuations. If guys think that curve looks off, I'll be glad to adjust. You can't really judge college and H.S. guys by stats, especially H.S. guys. Levels of competition vary, aluminum bats (a transition that is very difficult for some, etc.)...I feel doing it this way will set a good variability.
