Well i had all the players to go to their orginal teams but i had to shelve the project because the game must take the teams for the first year of a league from somewhere other than the teams csv file. The other years import ok but it causes an expansion for teams when you dont want an expansion unless you just keep the orginal teams that was put in the database.
Its no big deal i just wanted to use the database that came with the game when i wanted a more what if. But i wanted players to go to teams when i wanted a more strict historical replay with actual real trades. Also to have teams folding and new expansion teams to replay the way it was in the 19th century. But like i said no big deal. Better to concentrate on what does work.
So having said that how are we making out on schedules.
I would like to schedule 5 games a month for the 30 game schedule but im not sure how to make schedules yet.
It might be a good idea to compare our settings from each year for 19th century leagues. There may be ways that we could help each other out.
Ive noticed for me personally that i have to set injuries very low and fatigue low for at least the first 5 years. I also turn suspensions off till 1900 but i may turn them on sooner. Someone may have a better suggestion.
In Just little things like that will hopefully help us get the 19th century play to be more enjoyable.
