I am trying to run a historical league from 1903 using the Gambo database on OOTP9. When I run the league, I like to assign players to original teams rather than draft them randomly, and I also like to turn off financials thus eliminating free agents.

My question, if you do this, what happens to the players that assign to no team, do I have to manually assign them to a team? Or, a different angle, could I enter the database file and edit their import team, and if I can do that; which files would I need to edit to change this? I'm fairly comfortable with excel and access, so this isn't that big of a deal if possible.
