I've been playing OOTP for years and I know how to install the patches. Yes, I have 9.1.6.
I don't know how to upload files to you and no, I am not going to sim ahead. I play out my games. I'll wait and see whenever I get done with the season. To be honest, I have never gotten through more than 1 season in any of the last 4 versions so I haven't had the chance to see if it ever changes.
Edit: I just saw someone's post in another thread and they had a screenshot of their season/career page and their career requirement were different than the season, so I will give it a shot and see how it works.
