Oh yeah, there is a difference here.

Not in the numbers, but in how it affects the player's initial setup for usage. You see, one file will set a pitcher as a SP, and another as a RP. Why is this important? It is from the standpoint of the adjust/weaken parameters, as well as how the player is initially used (until the AI decides to alter his usage). But the usage is one thing - the importation weakening is quite another.

As well, each file will assign different hitter 'types' to a player. I watched Mantle get made a 'Normal' hitter by one file, and then a 'Pull' hitter by the other.

So I'd like to know what is going on here. The potential numbers don't seem to be different (I didn't check current year ratings), so I am guessing that isn't 'off'. But this RP/SP thing stinks.
