I just got an e-mail from the former owner that he might be interested in re-joining. I'll let him know that someone else is interested, and if he doesn't decide asap he'll be out of luck.
If Erebor and (perhaps) Carrock aren't available, would you be interested in running Lake Town, Grey Havens, Misty Mountain or Weathertop?
I can guarantee zero interference from the Weathertop owner. Lake Town and Grey Havens are both to the point where they would probably be willing to give up their teams entirely. Misty Mountain's owner pops in occasionally and might offer the most "interference" to a GM.
