We got Bobby Witt, just AGE 25 !!!!!
But mostly likely from NOT being signed 1988,1989.
Then of course what could be the reason him NOT being signed.
He played just 5 starts in 1987 for Texas with 2-2 3.57 ERA
Donīt know if he asked TOO much money or whatever, but in the case of good starting pitcher I have found out that many teams get a roation early in the season and sticking with it almost a whole season. NOT any chance to get a player trying for 5-10 starts to have a look-see.
This might be negative to starters like Bobby Witt
Knowing Bobby Witt he was up for a GRAND season in 1990 with 17 wins and he kept going until 2001, racking up plus 140 wins in the majors.

BIG question on this is also. What will have happend to him if I played along with the new option of retirement after the last MLB game (I refuse to call it retirement time, since OOTP is not looking at ACTUAL retirement BUT on last game played, BIG DIFFERENCE)

Bobby Witts history file ... Pretty good pitcher at the retirement day right

19870525 Strikes out 17 against the Northport Goths.
19870705 Pitches a 4-hit shutout against the Corpus Christi Harpies with 7 strikeouts and 1 BB allowed!
19880101 OSA scouting updated ratings (potential): Stuff: 70 (70); Movement: 80 (80); Control: 40 (40).
19880414 Released by the Texas Rangers.
19890101 OSA scouting updated ratings (potential): Stuff: 65 (65); Movement: 75 (75); Control: 45 (45).
19900101 OSA scouting updated ratings (potential): Stuff: 70 (70); Movement: 80 (80); Control: 45 (45).
19900101 Retired from professional baseball.

PS Getting tired off unretire Nolan Ryan after 1988, 89, 90, 91 (havenīt got further). I even force sign him to the team he actually played for, but the dump him after the season whatever stats.
