When I look at player stats in the regular season I see batting average as one thing on the player card, same on boxscore but different on the roster screen, it appears as though the batting average is computed on the boxscore and player card to include the spring training games while the roster screen does not include spring training in the display.
Perhaps they should all be synchronized as a default view then I can use the split or scope to change it as I see fit.
I know "real" boxscores don't include spring training stats when the season has begun.
